It is our job as christians to influence the culture around us and we are commanded to do this. (Matthew 28: 18-20; Micah 6:8) How do we influence our culture? Through obedience to Christ which means declaring his word and demonstrating his love through deeds of love and mercy. We also must stand agianst evil and one way to do so is to actively participate in the making of our laws.
